  11. She didn’t even do anything to stop them from arresting the suspect. She acted to keep her courtroom from becoming the zone of a melee during an arrest that was going to happen. She acted to protect the sanctity of her courtroom so suspects and others attending hearings would not be scared to enter and attend hearings. She directed the man to a side door that leads directly into the exact same hallway the officers were waiting in so they couldn’t make a show in the main entrance of her courtroom. She was protecting the court’s independence.

  23. Took them two years to indict Trump for BLATANTLY ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES so they could delay it to post-election but this case must be IMMEDIATELY taken care of. Crazy double standards.

  25. Federal Grand Jury indictment just means that a group of people feel there is enough evidence to have a trial. That’s it. This doesn’t mean that anyone thinks Dugan is guilty.

  27. I wasn’t here, I didn’t see it. Maybe she really did this thing, idk. But any other judge doing any other crime, with the possible exception of sexual battery, does not get frog marched by federal agents on national television and tweeted about by the FBI director.

    This is a direct attack on the judiciary. This is a classic mob tactic that Trump, famously connected to the New York mafia, knows very well. “Nice courts you have here, shame if something happened to it.”

    Except they skipped the first part here. She didn’t commit a crime, she allowed the defendant to leave via a side door, and the defendant was still arrested by ~~the gestapo~~ ICE.

  34. Makes me question what the charges and proof were. Grand Jury indictment means there was enough there to suspect her but it all that is, is helping some illegal immigrant hide, then imma say civil disobedience be upon ye.

    But if it’s something more serious then imo it warrants a decent investigation. I honestly don’t think it’s the latter cause a presiding Judge has no reason to stick their neck out like that

    She was trying to prevent mistrust of official functions and to keep civil order in legal public areas and now that’s gone.

    It took YEARS to move anything that was clear as day against Trump but days to make what is basically a weak case against this judge.

    We really are watching in real time America literally dive into authoritarian fascism with no real law and order.

    Rules for thee but not for me behavior is how society crumbles from incompetence from loyalty first governing.
