   They can’t change their ways. There is no reforming pedophiles, you can’t take away their urge in the same way you can’t take away the urge to kill from serial killers.

   It’s bleak, but you have to just keep them locked up forever. I don’t have enough faith in the courts to execute them (you’d inevitably end up with innocent people executed, and that’s a non-starter for me), so you just have to keep them locked up as legally long as possible.

   I am in favor of reforming criminals, we suck at doing that in general and prefer to focus on punishment instead. But not every criminal can be reformed, and pedophiles fall into that bracket imo.

4. They should put all these paedophiles on an island together after 2nd offense and never be able to leave. I can understand 1 chance.just in case someone was wrongly accused. But paedophiles brains are wired different and will repeat repeatedly. No child should ever have to go through that. And I get so sick of the justice system letting innocent children down over and over. They basically get a slap on the wrist instead of punishment. While the trauma they caused never ends for the victims.
