I created a map of 1000+ Ancient Roman sites across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East – categorized by type (amphitheatres, baths, temples, etc.) and ranked with a custom weighted score to highlight less touristic places.

There’s also a dedicated page for Italy with a table of the sites. Rankings are based on a mix of visitor ratings and review volume, helping surface impressive but lesser-known locations.
