   Why would the border countries accept such a deal?

   I would assume the border countries don’t want to deal with so many “refugees” and these economic migrants also don’t want to hang around in one of these countries, and just want to head over to Germany or to the crossing to the UK.

   Why can’t we have filtration centres in the balkans. The immigrants stay there until their case is heard and approved…that could be decades but….surely its better to be in a safe camp In Europe rather than facing death where they came from? Right….?

3. All of Eastern Europe should follow suit. It’s not our problem, the West wants to privatize profits and federalize losses.

4. How about instead of silly plans to shuffle them around inside the the EU we just stop them coming across in the first place and remove all incentives for illegal entry.

5. I am not a right winger but practically, better to block refugee flows entirely then trying to constantly distribute them everywhere else causing disunity and unclearness.

6. There needs to be a common way of handling this both in terms of housing people until their case is heard but also and more importantly in terms of deporting those who are rejected.

   It can’t be on the shoulders of just 3-4 countries in the entire EU to deal with this issue for the entire block and even the bigger more influential countries would benefit by having the collective political power of the block to support them.

   In the past things where blocked because the V4 where hysterical about not lifting a finger to help on the issue. After the shock from the Ukrainian refugee flows it’s going to be easier to come to an agreement imo

7. How can you claim to *”return”* refugees to a midway point of their journey?

   Germany isn’t trying to *”return”* them anywhere. They are **offloading** refugees to a fellow EU country, in an attempt to please it’s growing interior anti-refugee/immigrant sentiment.

9. We need a major overhaul of asylum policies. The world is vastly different than when these policies came into place, and quite frankly, there HAS to be a different solution that won’t destroy the western civilization

10. The EU refugee and asylum system is a joke. There should be a full moratorium on MENA + Afghanistan refugees

    The wellfare system needs to be abolished. Not like its sustainable eith an aging population anyway.
