Not to be that guy but Italy has sent quite a few weapons, just quietly. Instead of having press conferences saying “Look at us, we’re sending weapons” and have people oppose the military aid on the streets and in Parliament, we just send the weapons while saying nothing. This is not just with Ukraine, it’s how Italy always does arms deals. It’s the reason why last year all of a sudden Puma 6×6 troop transports and Centauro TD’s started appearing between Ukrainian ranks. This way Russia gets jumpscared by new equipment they had no idea was coming.
