    Except, it’s not a UK court.

  4. Time for Thailand to say enough and get tough on crime! Put the child up for adoption for some deserving parents so she has a chance at life. Jail is no place for a child. Equal rights and equal sentencing!

As I said on a different post, and given this has a photo of her smoking one hell of a doobie, she’s totally got friendly with her local Thai dealer, who has offered her easy money to fund an extended holiday of a life time. Greed has put her in this position. Well that’s usually what seems to be the case on banged up abroad.

  12. Wow such cruel comments. She’s 18 and made a big mistake. But she definitely does not deserve to spend a lifetime in a foreign jail for it. It reminds me a bit of Shamina Begum, who also did something stupid when she was young, and was stripped of her citizenship and humiliated by the press.

    People make mistakes, they always will. It’s really not that big of a deal when you think about it. We’re flying around on a rock orbiting a tiny star is a massive solar system. Get some perspective.

    Fuck around and find out. I’d understand and be a lot more sympathetic if she was being trafficked and/or forced to sell drugs but this is all a result of her own stupid choices. I’d throw the book at her.

  20. Before I knew anything about this case I thought “oh, poor girl probably got tricked into it, some easy money, stupid but naive.” But it turns out she’s a little rat, thought she was all that and deserves everything coming her way

  26. This is a confusing headline, at first I was wondering why she was arrested in Thailand for smuggling weed – but it’s Georgia. Who the fuck tries to smuggle drugs into a country like Georgia.
