He probably thought the HHS Secretary just answered the phones and opened the mail.

  1. We’re living in a satire and I hate it.

I hope whatever is watching the current season of “Hell on Earth” is enjoying it at least…

  2. So…..

I guess I agree that it’s a bad idea to take medical advice from a guy who takes his grandchildren swimming in sewage.

  3. The fact that none of this has to be made up for jokes is lowkey horrifying…

  4. This way, he is not forced to tell his antivax followers to do anything, or that the science should tell them to do anything. It lets him protect his cranky-anti-science views, and meanwhile he cancels or slow-walks vaccines and research, because reasons.

  5. Shouldn’t the HHS secretary (as an example)be held responsible by the president to administer the existing and perhaps new programs that the executive asks congress to approve or reject?
Cabinet members should efficiently run their departments at the pleasure of the president. If the department is not run well, the president can choose a new secretary. That’s it. No politics, no bullshit, no controversy on their part.
Agree or disagree with the President as representative of the executive office. Vote every four years, write your congressperson and vote for them as scheduled.
I did not vote for Trump. I don’t like what he’s doing, but he picked his cabinet and I’m tired of all of the noise. We can vote in a new House in a year and a half in hope that congress stands up to him.
I believe that the best government is run by people who have government experience, but I hold Trump and his voters responsible because he got elected twice without it.

  6. Turn the volume down on this meme! Jesus every time…

  7. Maybe he thought he was going to be answering phones, and getting coffee. Isn’t that what a secretary does?

  8. He should be hosting a crackpot podcast not be the health secretary.

  9. He’s so used to lying and giving out information that kills people that he can’t stop using one liners to defect responsibility
