  1. > “Sadly different crimes tend to affect different groups more than others and it remains a tragic truth that knife crime and street violence in London disproportionately affects boys and young men, particularly of African-Caribbean heritage, both in terms of being victims and perpetrators.

Are they hiding knives up their arses?

  2. What happened to the young girl is completely wrong and there needs to be accountability.

I think some people are a bit naive to the fact that class A drug dealing and usage on the street consists of persons concealing drugs. These drugs are concealed in small containers such as kinder egg cases, or wraps, and then inserted into ones anus for “safe keeping”. This dealing and usage is directly linked to gang and knife crime, involving youths.

Edit: Just to add a bit more; I’ve dealt with many cases involving gang violence / knives, where the perpetrators will actively strip the victim and look to see if drugs are being concealed, as described above. This stuff goes on, regularly, but isn’t reported in mainstream news.

  3. I challenge anybody here to find a habitual Class A drug dealer or user, or a carrier of folding knives small enough, who has not at some point been arrested with it up their bum.

  4. I might be the odd one out here, but I’ve got a question.

If we ban the strip searching of young folk, will not enterprising drug gangs just proceed to use children to transport drugs?
