In germany, what does this mean, no parking or stopping on the side of the street, but can park i parking spots right?
Otherwise would be only the top sign and not both, correct? Spots like in the second photo can park?

  1. No, it means no stopping and parking on the streat AND on the side strip.

Edit: the Audi in 2nd pic is parking wrong, the other 2 in front arent impacted by the sign, as its on the other side of the street.

  2. You don’t want to park your car directly besides a construction site anyway, or do you?

  3. The sign means “No stopping”, and the lower plate indicates “prohibition *includes* the shoulder and any parking bays” — so no stopping at all. But the sign only applies to the side of the road that it’s posted on; so in your second picture, the sign doesn’t apply to the vehicles closest to you, but the grey car on the other side of the street is parked illegally (unless the photo was taken before yesterday).

  4. To add, signs are not only technical instructions, they exist to facilitate real world things. In this case it means “don’t be here because we need to do works”. Often they are put out to reserve space for construction vehicles or moving vans. In the event of construction particularly you could find yourself towed. And yes, that car should not be there.
