Dude, you’ve been running for reelection for five years. For the last two, you’ve intentionally been veering to right simply to try and cut Le Pen off at the knees for *this very election*.
At least be honest; it’s a tough race, and you need to give people a reason to vote for you as opposed to merely reasons to vote against Le Pen. They’re smart people. They know the score. Treat them like it.

A joint YouGov and Datapraxis poll has Le Pen on 49% in the run-off. That’s not just margin of error, it’s as close as you can get.
It’s potentially quite real scenarios like Le Pen winning the presidency and the shitfest in the EU that would follow makes me think the UK may have, completely by accident, done the smart thing to leave when it did and have time to adapt to trading outside the EU. I still believe that Macron can win, but Le Pen shouldn’t be getting even close to 49%.
I remember some guys here was claiming this guy as a leader of Europe. He can not even win against a mad fascist like Le-Pen. It was an unbelieveable to hype around this overrated clown. French voters are very unlucky because they either have to choose a very unsuccesful president or simply neo-nazi Russian shill.
Keep in mind most people i know that will vote at the second turn ( for le pen ) will vote against macron, me included, it doesn’t matter who is against him.
The 5 last years have been horrible for many people, including me and my family.

Macron seemed like really weak leader who doesn’t understand how evil is putin. Those calls to putin really didnt help him. But I don’t want to think what will happen with Nato and EU if pro-russian Le Pen wins the election.
However he does in the first round he will win in the second round, but it might be closer than he would want.
