The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) has embarked on a five-day business meeting with Turkish Airlines and industry professionals in Istanbul, Turkey.

The meeting aims to strengthen relationships, explore new opportunities, and drive growth for Nigeria’s travel trade sector.

The meeting is expected to dwell on facilitating new trade relationships between the airline and Nigeria’s biggest travel trade professionals’ body, and to also process strategies to improve the airline’s robust presence as the first choice of Nigerian passengers.

The meeting with the travel trade professional body in Turkey is also expected to impact and highlight new areas of collaboration and partnership between the two sister organisations, particularly in areas of opening new streams of income for NANTA members.

According to Yinka Folami, NANTA President, the partnership is a strategic move to enhance the Nigerian travel trade market. “This is a relationship made for the future, carefully curated to make the Nigerian travel trade market strong and robust,” he said.

The meeting will focus on facilitating new trade relationships, improving airline presence, and identifying areas of collaboration and partnership. The partnership is expected to open new streams of income for NANTA members and drive growth for the industry.
