  10. lol ship this guy to Mexico or wherever the heck he is from. I’m Vietnamese and I grew up in Vietnam. The Chinese for thousands of years took a lot of out land/ islands and at one point they completely took our land foe 1,000 years and came the French for 100 years and then the Japanese and the American. The Vietnamese are not bitter about it, we accept the past and knowing the only way to avoid wars and conflicts is to build a strong country. I came to this country in 2003 when I was 18 years old and I’m grateful to be citizen of this country. Whoever is not happy here, go somewhere else and you will see how lucky you are to be here in America.

  12. Everyone seems to forget that the United States defeated Mexico, surrounded Mexico city ,and could have absorbed Mexico into the US. BUT THEY DIDN'T, ( can you imagine what MEXICO would look like today if they had?? Not that I think ,that's what should have happened in any way) . It is what it is, you can't change history and you can't be a victim unless you were alive when it happened. As important as history is ( and I love to study history) it should be used as a guide for what to do and what not to do, it's now being used to claim victimhood. Sometimes I wish we could wipe all memories and look towards the future instead of blaming someone for something they didn't do or claiming they are a victim when they weren't alive. Life is a balance there's a place for history and a place for now and the future.

  19. nop the Mexicans did not stole the land from the indigenous actually it was the Spanish now when the Spanish mix with the indigenous their kids became criollos a mix of Spanish and indigenous, now they were calle mexicans because the land the Spanish invaded was called by the indigenous Mexica so actually mexicans did not stole anything they were there originally, texas and California were part of Mexico and the Indian tribes like Cherokee and others never had problems with Mexico actually they were respected by mexicans even by the spanish

  20. Shit. Not this argument. The Mexicas, now known as Aztecs
    were a central Mexican tribe. There were various tribes through out Mexico which included Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California. The Spanish appended the territory as The New Spain and it was a viceroyalty. The Spanish and the natives were encouraged to mix. They did not exterminate the Indian like the English did. So everything he said after was a honk of bull shit.

Technically the Texas revolution was fought by Mexican citizens both settlers who became Mexican citizens and tejanos who were born there it did not become part of the United States until after they formed the republic of Texas and then voted to be annexed by the United States nearly a decade later making Texas the 28th state
