Hello,

I wanted to know if any of you have already ordered from u-buy.ch and if so, have you received your order? Have there been any problems? I know it's not the best quality, but it's the only site in Switzerland that sells what I'm looking for.

  1. Their website has a phone number and that number is not even the right length for a swiss number.

    So I would not order from there.

  3. What are you trying to buy? This is a drop shipping website and a very shady looking one at that as there isn’t any legit contact information.

  4. This site is not from Switzerland. There’s a lot of online shops from outside and labelled .ch

    better to avoid them, once buy on one and impossible to contact.

  5. I have ordered something there because I couldn’t find it anywhere else. It was fine. No issues. But order on AliExpress if possible they have a good reputation.

  6. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

    This is a dropshipping site, they do not have their own warehouse and instead they order it from their supplier directly to you. That means you can always get it from somewhere else cheaper, as you can skip their margin.
    You will also get better customer support as it will go directly to the seller and not the middle person.
    Their contact information is also very shady, as the phone number listed is not a complete swiss number.
    I believe this shop is ran by a foreign brand, so not even their customer support is swiss. A lot of those shady companies like to put their location somewhere in the Italian or French speaking parts of switzerland, as those languages are easier to translate using a translator. They often dont understand that business in the german speaking part is conducted in standard german and not swiss german, the only thing they realise is that swiss german is hard to translate.
    Also if you look at the delivery times, it says economy (so the cheapest standard shipping for their customers) takes 16+ days, while the slightly better option is 10+ days and for express they only say “faster”. this is a clear indicator that they ship from china or some asian country, where storage and labor are cheap and the regulations for customer service and warranty are close to none.

    My advice: type the thing you want to buy into google and click on the shopping tab. you will most likely find it to be available on galaxus or some other local store. there you have a clear breakdown of the final price and wont have to pay customs on it. you can also from amazon.de which is not my favorit company but they still provide fair and decent customer support and you are guaranteed to receive your purchase.
    if its some cheap chinese crap you want to buy, get it directly from aliexpress or (if you need to) temu. it will be much cheaper and those dropshippers order from the same places, so there wont be any quality issues compared to getting it from u-buy. aliexpress in my opinion has proven to be a reliable shop and while the quality usually goes with the price, you at least know what you are getting. you can also read reviews and see photos from other people that got the product, so at least semi-regulated. aliexpress is like ebay for chinese manufacturers, so it’s only a shop and the products are sold by other companies. the reviews are not managed by the seller but by aliexpress, so while fake reviews can still be bought, unlike u-buy they can’t be 100% faked or bad reviews just deleted.
    saving 10.- on a ninja ice cream machine on u-buy is not worth it, if you first have to buy customs when it gets here and second dont have any warranty or return policy guaranteed.
