  1. I won’t be watching it or engaging with any media about it.

  2. Israel + some doll who was parachuted in to represent us despite nada cultural ties to Ireland

Its meant to be camp fun , but sorry , cant use that as cover all excuse for hypocrisy of European values in face of genocide and promotion of diversity when it looks more that means that identity to be forced into this unearned flexible generic mold (just to clarify , if Emmy has lived in Ireland and emmerced herself in the irish culture especially music , it wouldnt matter if she is norwegian , but all she is is norwegian to me with an irish song writer credit tacked on)

  3. I didn’t realise Eurovision was happening until yesterday….

  4. Not watching but realistically Laika Party was still the best choice they could have sent.

    ● She won the public and jury vote. People need to get over that shes Norwegian, its a contest and she won it fairly.

    ● Its kinda fitting that no one Irish went after last year’s drama

    ● Laika Party is an anti animal cruelty song, celebrating a dog that died in space travel research. Fitting that we are in a modern world where even human life isnt valued, probably as close to an anti cruelty song that anyone but that country will be let use.

    ● Will it qualify? Probably not. Its gonna be hard carried by visuals. Suppose people misunderstanding the song will get it trending, but thats all it can hope for.

If this is the last Ireland Eurovision song, oh well

  5. Norwegian singing about a russian dog representing Ireland. K.

  6. It’s great that Laika’s singing an anti-animal cruelty song but she’s sharing a stage with a supporter of genocide. A lot of cowardice shown tonight by the organisers.

  7. I’ve got to be honest with you, if i found out a friend was watching this year I’d really think less of them.

  8. Won’t be watching while Israel is allowed to participate.

  9. How is this chap’s relentless spamming and trolling still being tolerated?

  10. As a massive music fan and  collector for 40 odd years I obviously won’t be watching.

  11. Would be great if she refused to sing. She’s already got the song out, legitimizing Israeli genocide in this way is awful.

Fuck the lot of those pricks doing eurovision tonight.
