Floorball Australia has advised of its acceptance as a Recognised Organisation member of the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC), marking a significant milestone for the sport’s national growth and recognition in the country’s sporting arena.
This recognition reflects the shared values between Floorball Australia and the AOC, including a commitment to excellence, inclusion, and increasing participation across Australia.
It also signals exciting momentum for the sport, which continues to grow thanks to the dedication of volunteers, clubs, and communities around the country.
Floorball Australia Executive Director Steve King noted “this is a meaningful step forward for floorball in Australia.
“We’re honoured to be welcomed into the AOC family following the vote of its members at its Annual General Meeting.”
Floorball Australia looks forward to working alongside the AOC to further promote the sport and inspire the next generation of Australian athletes.
