The streets aren’t designed for the weight of the tanks so unless this is held at a military base add a ton of repair money as well. What a waste and a slap in the face to all the veterans that have had benefits cut.

  17. I want this parade. I want the Turd to be up on a tall reviewing stand, before a giant mural of Washington, Lincoln, and himself. I want hundreds of troops marching by, tanks and missle launchers rolling by. I want aircraft flying over the parade route. And I want a video of clips comparing this parade to ones in NK, Iraq (during Saddam Hussein), Russia, China, etc, so the comparison to totalitarian regimes can’t be denied. But then I remember how brain dead MAGAts are and realize they’d love it.

Wouldn’t it be amazing to live in the dimension where the massive military parade is a actually a being agreed to by the military as a cover for a coup, and during the parade, Trump and every other traitor amongst the GOP and his cabinet present are arrested and held for legitimate trials.   24. This very much highlights how much Trump hates the military, and those successful in it, because he can’t be them. He loves being mean and cruel to them and making them grovel at him.

    It traces back to what a loser he was in high school at a military boarding school. The only commendation medal he received his entire time there was for cleanliness and he watched more distinguished classmates go on to successful military careers and being hailed as heroes. While meanwhile he was a coward that made excuses not to go to Vietnam and is very jealous of real military achievers. So he belittles them and makes them do stuff like this bowing down to him.

  27. Based on my quick and dirty math, at an “average” of $50k/yr, that’s roughly 175 park ranger salaries for the rest of his term. I’d rather have a strong national park system than a military circle jerk on Pennsylvania Ave.
