  6. The fact he stepped into Turkey has checkmated Russia diplomatically. It is a smart move not to go to the meeting. Ukraine has the advantage in this arena going for them currently, and I’m sure Russia’s envoys are under orders to attempt to bait Zelensky to make up for this.

    Ukraine is showing that its diplomatic teams are a cut above Putins teams. They turned his parade ceasefire against him in the face of world leaders. Now they did the same with Putins Instanbul talks. Putin must be raging in the Kremlin at Lavrov.

  8. It’s the right move. If Russia sends a delegation and Zelensky attends it makes him look like the petitioner.
