    DeSantis signed the bill at a public event in Dade City, Florida, over the concerns of dentists and public health advocates.

    “We have other ways where people can get access to fluoride,” DeSantis said at a public event earlier this month. “When you do this in the water supply, you’re taking away a choice of someone who may not want to have overexposure to fluoride.”

  13. Are there publicly traded dental companies? I feel like their stock is probably going up. We won’t see immediate results, but within a few years we’re going to see a lot more cavities and other dental issues.

  22. to be fair they could just provide dental care with fluoride treatments rather than slowly poison your nervous system. Not to shit on public health initiatives like this but forcing any chemicals on the people by using is water source should be a last resource. The rich people drink bottled water and go to a dentist while the poor uneducated masses end up with problems from the neurotoxin although with agreeably more teeth. (then they take it away to save money and they end up with the worst of both worlds yah!)
