MAGA Melts Down After Trump-Appointed Justice Argues Against Ending Birthright Citizenship: ‘Remove This Imposter’

1. What did they expect? She’s a Supreme Court Justice. That appointment is for life and Trump cannot remove her. The moment she got the position, there was no longer any benefit to being loyal.

4. I loved the questions that…maybe Kavanaugh…asked. What do hospitals do when a woman gives birth? Not give the kid a birth certificate? They aren’t in their parents’ country, so they won’t be getting one there! It’s not the job of healthcare workers to thoroughly examine immigration documents before they let the woman push.

   Then later, how do you tell the difference between the birth certificate they get and the one everyone else gets? You can’t.

5. SCOTUS is debating semantics about which judges are allowed to stop a president brazenly ignoring laws, court orders, and the Constitution. People are locked up in concentration camps while they debate which judge in Texas has to be sent which type of case. The Judicial Branch no longer has a pulse and Congress is a sock puppet. We will remain a dictatorship as long as no one has the resolve to stand up to this before all hope evaporates.

6. As much as I hate most of what she believes in, she has been showing upholding the law over Lord Dampnut more and more.

9. I’m really tired of seeing all of these headlines parroting the same hyperbolic, click-chasing language I despise in right-wing news. Headlines like “MAGA melts down” or “GOP shredded” are just the left’s version of “woke mob incinerates,” and it’s embarrassing. It’s not journalism, it’s marketing wrapped in partisan smugness.

   It’s empty; vapid. These dramatic headlines lead to articles that land with all the impact of a soggy napkin. We don’t get real takedowns or serious accountabilit, just vague critiques, passive framing, and a tone that suggests someone’s more interested in the dopamine hit of “owning” the other side than in saying anything meaningful. It’s not a pile driver. It’s a sternly worded memo from some twat who wants to rile you up when the facts alone should be enough to enrage.

   And “melts down”? Please. The MAGA base doesn’t melt down. They double down, fund raise, and cheer louder. There’s no introspection, no reckoning. That language only feeds the illusion that anything is shifting. It’s a hollow chant, used so endlessly, so reflexively, it’s become white noise.

   This is the cycle: rinse, repeat, repackage. “Destroys”, “eviscerates”, “rips”, “slams”, “shreds”, “incinerates”, ect. It’s a tired thesaurus of fake urgency, recycled endlessly until the words mean nothing. Just more noise in a media ecosystem that confuses volume for impact and performance for principle.

11. The only good thing that might come out of the birthright citizenship fiasco would be seeing trumps first three kids explaining why their mother not being a legalized citizen until after they were born shouldn’t matter.

13. Their really isn’t surprising from MAGA morons. They interpret words and the law and the words of the law and Constitution as fits their ideology. They have read the 2A and decided to gloss over “a well regulated militia.” They’ve read the 14th and decided to ignore it and every precedent because it’s contrary to their racist goals. They e read of due process and certainly demand it when they face charges but decided to reject it if it’s too cumbersome.

14. Can someone please tell me what meltdown means exactly in this context. Who exactly is doing the melting down and in what form is it taking ?

    If Trump can get a single baby born in the US to not be granted citizenship he has won a HUGE victory.

    It would set the precedent that opens up 10’s of millions for losing they citizenship via birthright.

    It would allow for not just newborns to be subject to the loss of citizenship but anyone of any age who parents weren’t American citizens.

    He could go back generations and void citizenship to individuals and whole families under the ruling that since the parents were NOT Americans then none of their descendants are actually either.

    The truth of the matter is this, 65% of ALL Americans alive today are descended from one or more undocumented immigrants in one way or another.

    It isn’t unimaginable that once birthright citizenship is impinged that going back as far as 4 or 5 generations to your great, great-grandfather or grandmother’s will provide any safety.

    Companies like 23andMe reach back 100’s of years and have found over a 100 million of Americans who are descended from undocumented or illegal immigrants.

    Do you honestly believe Trump wouldn’t go that far to target a person or group he doesn’t like or who oppose him?

    Of course he would and without question.

20. Because it is also obvious from the document and from other writings that they were talking about diplomats (and perhaps invaders/occupiers) when excluding those not ‘subject to the jurisdiction of the United States’.

21. The real traitors are Trump and those pushing for the end of birthright citizenship.

End of the day, Trump & his regime simply don’t have the necessary support to lawfully amendment the Constitution, If SCOTUS attempts to circumvent the Constitution, at that point their whole purpose becomes null-n-void. Doubt Roberts would risk losing more power by surrendering to Trump’s whims.

23. So tired of all these maga melts down headlines. What a bunch of babies. Even when they win and get their god emperor, there’s still no pleasing them. What a bunch of entitled worthless spoiled children. Get off Fox, get a real job, and start contributing to society.
