It’s a service of remembrance for his late father. We literally let convicts out of jail for the day to go to funerals.
Hopefully, this is the last we’ll see of him. At the end of the day, it is a service for his late father, and she is his mother. If it was anything else, he’s surplus to requirements and always will be. He’s a national disgrace.
It’s a memorial for his father. Nothing can or should prevent him from attending it, no matter how disgraced or pathetic he is. He arrived with the Queen because they’re the only two members of the royal family that live in Windsor, and he’s the only one without a spouse or unmarried children.
Also quite clever considering the Queen arrived through the back entrance, he avoided the crowds this way.
Anyways, a very touching service and even more touching to see the Queen publicly shed a few tears. Second time she’s ever done it.
Hope this is the last we ever see of Andrew.
