Looks like a large example but is probably a red or yellow eared terrapin. They’re now banned as a pet species because people constantly release them and they’re a pox on local bird and reptile populations

The standard of sushi in London has really taken a dive.
Needs to be caught and dealt with before it causes any more harm.
These animals need to be id tagged before sale so that people who release them can be prosecuted.

Terrapin, nasty bite on them. Carry salmonella which can be transmitted just by handling them. No idea what their appeal as pets are.
I see a suit of armour standing up in the water
Atleast it’s an unwanted foreigner in our waters that won’t rape our women , steal our tools , lower our living standards and milk our NHS and benefit services to death……..
