‘Chilling’: Nine Migrants Have Died in ICE Custody Since Trump Took Office, Congress Told

  1. Why is this not headlines on all media? Not surprising, we knew people are going to die because of this.

  3. We are all responsible for this. Some more than others, but we all let this happen. The only way to atone is to make sure it stops.

  4. Shit happens. They died on the way here. They died waiting on coyotes to cross . They died when the cartel murdered them in Mexico. They died when they murdered each other in the US. They died from drug overdose. They died in car accidents. So do Americans. What’s your point?

  5. These ‘migrants’ are people with lives just like ours. How can any intelligent people not see this? Trump should spend a week in their shoes, no goddam gold toilet. A disgrace.

  6. Boy if I didn’t shout from the hilltops that nobody operating the machinery of mass deportation would have any interest in reducing bycatch or harm. This was the only outcome a mass deportation program was ever going to yield.

    I would think “transparency” would include disclosing the list of alleged crimes these nine, now dead, detainees committed. But I doubt we will see those. Because most of these people are normal hard-working folks:
