Snow White bombs again

Snow White just bombed at the box office again. How the hell did that happen? You’ve heard of a movie flopping at the box office, but have you heard of a movie flopping at the box office twice in two months? Snow White did just that. You see, the movie opened on 4,200 screens back on March 21st. It did $42 million domestic opening weekend, and then it fell off by a significant 66% the following weekend. Over the next 7 weeks, its theater count would dwindle to just 310 screens. But then this past weekend, Disney was like, “What if we gave it another shot?” So, the studio re-released Snow White on $1,330 screens on Friday. And according to Box Office Mojo, it bombed once again, grossing just $335,000 total, which comes out to about $251 per theater, meaning one to two tickets were sold per showing on average. Why would Disney do this? Maybe it thought there was a lack of competition or that families would go for Mother’s Day. Who knows? But the question now is, how much money is Snow White going to lose? Snow White’s losses could be around $225 million, which would put it in the top five biggest flops of all

  1. If i had a nickel for every disney backed movie that bombed at the box office twice, i'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice!

  2. They’re employing one of the scuzziest marketing campaigns out there. They are TRYING to induce anger purchases at this point. Or “is it really that bad” views. Just look at their marketing pages. It’s the same principle as “rage-baiting” online that people like to do. This is a relatively new concept that hasn’t been tried on this scale until now, but alas, here it is.

  3. I could have predicted this they should give me a job seems they lack people with common sense who looked at this and said yeah that’s gonna be a hit they should have cancelled before they got too far in

  4. The 1 – 2 ticket buyers are those that carry the rainbow flag and karens that cry and whine about how the industry needs to cater to them. Ruined everything for everyone.

  5. It’s almost like when I want to watch a movie I don’t want to see liberal shit I want to see a movie seems to me by flipping this bad I’m not the only one that feels that way clearly

  6. We, dumb, peasants, who actually have nothing to do with your country's elections….🥴 Hate that twa*ts entitled spoiled brat comments. She doesn't deserve any respect! Plus Disney has FUCKED UP STAR WARS!!!

  7. White people are tired of white replacement and having people lie to them about it while doing it directly in front of them. Hell, lots of latino and black people are tired of this crap and want actual inclusion instead of having their faces pasted over white culture and white stories.

  8. I think i did some math back when I saw it. It was like 3 people per theater over the whole 3 days they did this for the weekend. I could be wrong tho so. Either way they lost a lot.

  9. They should have marketed it to young couples- "Empty, dark theaters."
Probably would have made 10 times of what they made now
