Bit early to say they have “dismantled the Russian military”.
Russia still has lots of horses.
Tbf it wasn’t Ukraine alone. Russia also deserves some credit. They had a huge part in shattering the Russian military.
They need to destroy the economy next. Atack oil export infrastructure, electricity and industrial infrastructure.
The war is not “frozen”. The Russian military machine is running through a buzz saw, every single day. This is wearing down the finite stockpiles of Soviet era kit. Once that is gone, Russia will be in a world of hurt because the manufacture of completely new equipment is at far too low a rate to equal the daily losses. At that point this war could go VERY badly for Russia.
Stalemate is a definite loss here for Russia.
The added bonus is that the longer it goes the more likely Russia is going to have to withdraw as they won’t be able to sustain the stalemate.
The war has been and continues to be brutal on Ukraine, but Russia’s military is bleeding out.
Numbers are numbers and Russia doesn’t care about how many of their own they kill. There is no logic here only the insanity of a mad king. It’s not going to stop soon.
Still, even if this would be fact, direction where front moves is wrong. I really hope we see Russia moving back in all fronts during 2025.
how is it frozen when one side advances 10 to 30 km2 a day.
What Ukraine has achieved is immense. Considering how outmanned, outgunned, outbudgeted is a testament to their heroism.
If you look back at early 2024 when Russia broke through around avdivka, you will see that Russian capabilitys vs Ukrainian ones have waned significantly. Russia no longer has a massive artillery advantage, drone advantage and with glide bomb jamming it’s far more difficult for them to break through. With a massive uptick in drone interceptors Russia may also have very limited deep strike capacity soon aswell
Thoroughly enjoyed reading that. Death by a thousand drone cuts to the Russian army.
I read a recent article about Russia becoming more advanced in drone warfare. Is this something to be concerned about and will this change the current outlook?
*“Ukrainian drone technology is so far ahead, I do not think Russia has any realistic potential to catch up,” said* [*Andrew Perpetua*](https://x.com/AndrewPerpetua)*, an independent analyst who tallies Russian and Ukrainian losses and who might analyze a hundred or more videos of battlefield drone strikes every day.*
Russia is running out of muskets and is relying more on the saber and pitchfork. Ukraine has moved on from the musket, has developed the rifle cartridge, and is developing the machine gun and rpg.
Who is this blogger? Is he reliable?
My Ukrainian source write quite the opposite.. 😑
Edit : never underestimate the horses though..
