Whether it would be considered a pizza in Italy is another thing entirety.

Helt ærlig synes jeg grandiosa er jævlig ekkelt. Big one er grei, men man føler seg som en feit gris etter da.
This should be a warning to any other country thinking it’s a good idea to make both women and men work while their kids are young. After 3 generations of working moms, nobody can cook any longer, and Grandiosa is seen as food.

I told my family in the US that the official foods of the Nordic countries are frozen pizza and … something resembling tacos but they did not believe me

Hard to believe even if we count per capita , because São Paulo has 20million people and a pizzaria in every corner , and that’s 1 city alone
If you have eaten Norwegian traditional every day food a lot, you understand why.
The stuff that is tasty and good, made from scratch, requires a lot of work. You need a stay home parent for that. The stuff that is quick to make is not very tasty. So pizza and tacos became popular quicly.
Lolll.. I actually love this.. I was only in Oslo and Bergen for a week, but even as an American, I somehow I totally believe this : )

Why do you compare Grandiosa and pizza? If Norwegians eat frozen pizza it only means that they don’t cook and don’t eat national dishes as in other countries.
Frozen pizza is not a proper pizza and is really disgusting and unhealthy.
It goes well with the something like 30% of the global production of Pepsi Max we drink 🫠
I eat grandiosa sometimes. But its almost not pizza to me. I need mozzarella.
