Erin Andrews went outside her comfort zone recently after agreeing to take on a gig as a talk show host. It wasn’t any ordinary talk show either, as NBC tapped the veteran Fox Sports broadcaster to be a guest host for the “TODAY With Jenna & Friends” show.

Andrews’ week-long gig ended on Friday in what turned out to be an emotional moment for the 47-year-old sportscaster. The show sent a heartfelt message to Andrews via social media as they thanked her for taking the time out of her busy schedule to host the morning show alongside Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Jenna Bush Hager.

“Thanks for spending the week with us @erinandrews! We had a blast 🫶” the Instagram post read.

Andrews admitted that she was feeling a bit down now that her time on the show had ended.

“So sad it over! Thank you @jennaandfriends 🫶🫶” she wrote in the comments section.

Andrews then took to her Instagram stories to share the post, revealing how she was unable to fight the tears amid her emotional farewell.

“I’m crying,” Andrews admitted, adding a handful of teary-eyed emojis.

It was clearly quite a memorable experience for Andrews hosting the show. Throughout the week, she got the chance to interview the likes of Jimmy Fallon, Blake Shelton, Sofia Vergara, Salma Hayek, Mel B of the Spice Girls and Queen Latifah.

As the show posted on Instagram, they had a blast having Andrews on as a co-host. The feeling is clearly mutual for the renowned NFL reporter.
