Daughter, grandson of crypto boss escape kidnapping in Paris • FRANCE 24 English

A bystander films an attempted kidnapping in the streets of Paris Tuesday morning. In broad daylight, a woman is dragged along the sidewalk by men in ski masks toward a delivery van. The young woman manages to throw the attacker’s gun away. Passers by, including this man with a fire extinguisher, then start to intervene and the wouldbe kidnappers flee the scene. The van speeds away with the asalants making a close escape. Among the witnesses, the victim’s spouse who was injured as he intervened as well as this man who administered first aid. I saw a man on the ground covered in blood. So, as a health professional, I gave first aid very quickly. He was badly injured. His skull had been fractured. The woman was accompanied by her young son, says a cafe owner who knows the couple well. They took refuge in his cafe just minutes after the assault. She was with the firefighters receiving first aid along with her son. Her husband was outside. Investigators from Paris’s police force are looking into this violent attack. They’re exploring the possibility that this attempted kidnapping is linked to others in the cryptocurrency world. Attacks like this one are on the rise in France with 10 or so in the past year, each with a similar modus operandi. A kidnapping in the street followed by a demand for money. Just over a week ago, the father of a crypto entrepreneur was rescued by police after being abducted in the streets of Paris. In the nearly 48 hours he was missing, his kidnappers severed his finger and demanded a ransom from his son.

The daughter and grandson of a French cryptocurrency entrepreneur narrowly escaped a kidnap attempt by armed men in Paris on Tuesday in the latest attack on a crypto trader in the French capital, police said. Four masked men attacked a couple and their child in the French capital’s 11th district, police sources told AFP. All three suffered light injuries and were taken to hospital.

I will NEVER never understand why the really rich do not have guards.. private guards.. rewind 300 years ago and all over the world no matter what race, any noble man of note had private security… AFrica ? King Mansa Musa had his own private military and 500 guards… Asia ? Noblemen would not leave the premises without their security detail… Europe… they would keep security… footman would also double as security for noble ladies.. the point is no matter if you keep a low profile or not, these vagrants find you.. We really need to adopt some of the ways of our ancestors including private guards.. Oh and Chaperones for girls.. Teen pregnancy would drop so MUCH if our daughters had chaperones like they did back in the heyday

    The Exchanges don't give protection on investments
    Rug pulls happen too often , price manipulation and no safety net on capital .
    This is the problem people face and it is just a matter of time when people take action .
    Families are financially destroyed because of this .
    The Ones on top live lavish lives from others investments claiming to be so successful.
    Thugs are placing themselves at risk .

  21. they have cctv cams everywhere in paris. if many cams are located like a web, the police would soon catch up to the truck car. when incidents like this occur in my country, the police's main job is to identify by car and on foot all houses and buildings with cctv cams from the scene and in the direction of escape. second they go door 2 door to collect videos from the houses and the buildings and transfer them to usb drives.
