  2. I’m team coco4ever. I was one of those Young people. Went to his show in Manhattan after Leno screwed him and got to shake his hand. Best. Comedian. Ever.

  4. Late night with Conan O’Brien was absolutely the best talk show a 10 year old could watch. We all grew up and needed more. Team CoCo for life!

  5. The best and most lasting speech in my life is when Conan told me to stop being cynical and how it was his least favorite quality. I can swear to you my life from that moment changed. Not even trolling. The guy lifted me out of my depression by being so open about his.

  6. I watched Conan my whole life growing up. Like an old friend.

    It’s hard to see, all of late night hosts are fine but are way less funny and charismatic as this guy.

    I feel like the Jimmy’s and Colbert imitate him cause he’s so deep in that culture and they all know he should have their job?

    But his podcast is pretty great “Team CoCo”. Not what any of us wanted. But certainly better than nothing. I’ll watch anything he does.

  9. All of the late night show hosts tape their shows in the afternoon.

    If I am remembering correctly, the final issue was that his show was going to air at midnight instead of 11:30 PM and he didn’t like that.

    I did not then and I do not now understand how that could embolden someone to be so put upon and to garner so much sympathy.

    People act like a crime was committed. He had his health. And he would have had a very handsomely paid job where he could have had fun, and the only issue is that the show would air a half hour later. He likely would have been asleep at either 1130 or midnight. There are just such gigantic problems people face; I never saw how this engendered so much pathos.
