Except its not a “warplane” its a private charted flight carrying US troops from NATO training exercises in Poland and previously Hungary. Our own defense forces were involved in both.

However people feel about their cause – it’s very worrying that they could get that close to a plane. What if they were actual terrorists? Airport Police need to get their act together
It’s Omni Air International aircraft. They’ve a fleet of mainly 767s (this plane in the video) and I think one of two 777s. They’re entire business model is pretty much US military transport. They’ve been stopping through Shannon for years. They usually passed through en route to Kuwait.
Since they pulled out of Afghanistan, they were very seldom through Shannon. Like back in the Afghan campaign days. Since things have heated up in the last two years, they’ve been through a lot more and tend to go to Romania, Germany, Scandinavia, Cyprus, and I think I’ve seen Turkey too.
I’m pretty sure Shannon is also allowing Russian shadow fleet planes in too. There’s been an Azerbaijani registered Ilyushin Il-76 through recently. Been going from Shannon to Baku and Ankara. The company that owns the plane, Silk Way West airlines, has a board full of people with Russian last names too.
I personally love Shannon, but it’s low-key shady

Is this the same group that carried out the ram raid on the perimeter fence recently? It’s blurry but the heavy-set red head looks familiar from their own video last time. I doubt any judge will be giving them bail for repeating their offences if it is her and the same group.
