So, to cut to the point, I am slowly learning Finnish, for many reasons and one of them is because I like it and I want to study Fine Arts in there, but for that, in my research and investigation; I came across that I need the YKI-test for them to accept my request if I want to not study in English ( Which I don't want since I want to learn Finnish for real, and because studying in English costs much more). So basically, what do you guys recommend me for studying and learning faster? I have been watching films, shows and series, even downloaded the Moomin anime in Finnish to learn from it, so I am exposing myself to as many media as possible to learn Finnish since this was the same way I learnt English. Anyways, to make the post not larger than it is, please recommend me ways to learn faster and/or books to read and media to consume. Thanks!

  1. For what do you want learn finnish?

I mean there’s ni job or work here, so what’s the benefit for this language, you have to think about future and German language or maybe Italy or French or open alot of doors to you, better than to spend 1 year or 2 year to learn finnish then you will not able even to find job as cleaner

  2. ok, so you are crazy enough to study fine arts (60% graduates do something else than art to pay the bills) and in a language that few people speak and in a country with a closed and limited job market.

As with learning any language, try to immerse yourself and try to actively use it (even if you have to use a chatbot for this.). Keep in mind that Finnish grammar is quite extensive and things get a bit harder as you progress but then get kinda easier.
