For the 70th Anniversary of Disneyland, Galactic Grill is resurrecting the Space Place Cottage Fries.

The Space Place was a Tomorrowland restaurant from 1977 to 1996, located where Alien Pizza Planet now resides. The Seasoned Cottage Fries were a staple of the menu in its later years.

These are so much better than the regular park fries, and especially for Galactic Grill. However, they’re fairly basic and not as crispy as we hoped. It’s a decent snack offering, but nothing worth going out of your way for. They’d make a better side with a meal than something to buy à la carte at that price point.

The Disneyland 70th Anniversary celebrations run from May 16 through summer 2026 (a specific end date has not yet been announced).
