Hi guys, first time installing a washing machine and could use some help.

I got two pipes with the machine, left one sticks perfectly (I assume that’s where the cold water comes from). I’m not sure how to connect the second pipe. The grey pipe is loose for the brass pipe. Am I supposed to put another accessory to make sure they’re fixed properly?

  1. ~~If you unscrew the clamp, slide it over the hose, then screw the hose onto the drain and screw the clamp back on, it should fit.~~

    You will need a clamp „Rohrschelle“

    Important: if it has worked and you are not absolutely sure that it is tight: do not start a wash programme, but let some water drain into the drum and the machine, placing a bucket under the drain.

  2. It should fit over it, you can buy a ring hose clamp from any hardware store and screw it tight using a screw driver. Make sure to remove the tub shipment bolts in the back of the washing machine before running it for the first time.
