“Medics said the latest strike that also killed women and children, wounded dozens of other people and set several tents ablaze.”
I urge all people of the world to insist their leaders sanction Israel. It’s the only way to end the Palestinian genocide that Israel is carrying out.
It’s horrifying how routine this kind of news has become. 24 people, including women and children, incinerated in tents, and it barely registers as a disruption in the broader narrative. The very same day that “peace talks” are being held, bombs are dropping on displaced families who have nowhere else to go. What kind of ceasefire process happens in parallel with mass death?
And the worst part is how predictable it all feels. Every round of talks comes with escalations meant to harden positions, stall momentum, or extract leverage through bloodshed. It’s a cycle that leaves civilians (already dispossessed, starving, and grieving) as disposable collateral. If this is what “war objectives” look like, we need to seriously ask: at what point does it stop being about defense and start being about erasure?
This isn’t a miscalculation or a fog-of-war tragedy. It’s policy.
