Israeli Ynet: Alarms throughout the center [of Israel] following the launch from Yemen, one missile was intercepted
After an IDF spokesman announced that a launch from Yemen had been detected, alarms were activated throughout the center – from the lowlands to Netanya. A few minutes later, the IDF updated that the missile had been intercepted.
Does any know the altitude? Is this exo atmospheric?
Houthis did not like Israel getting 2nd in the eurovision
[removed]
Is this Thaad or Arrow?
Always exciting & unique footage
Somewhat unexpected that the big flash starts to happen a quite a bit before the two bright dots get closest. Does someone have an explanation for this? Frag warhead on the interceptor rather than kinetic? The ascending bright dot might be the rear end of the interceptor, but I somewhat doubt we can see the length of the missiles in the video.
Not sure how Arrow works, but if this is THAAD, another possible explanation is that the interceptor missile had released its impact/’kill’ vehicle already, and we only see the booster, which is lagging some more.
