In the same article they also do a write up on Aberystwyth. They mention the use of Cymraeg in Aber but it doesn’t get mentioned in the Caernarfon bit which surprised me slightly as you hear much more Welsh spoken in Caernarfon in my experience.
If I had to say anything about it, I’d say it juxtaposes Bangor quite well.
It’s a lovely county, ruined by the idiots in the council who see their job as obstruct, delay and overcharge.
Proper Welsh town. Nice to see it get some recognition. The food festival is always busy
It’s certainly beautiful. Wish more welsh towns were like Caernarfon
It’s affordable, you can get a lot of lifestyle for you money.
I once saw a house with a private mooring there for £330k. Pretty wild.
I think Conwy is better. If I could afford a house there I think that’s where I’d choose to live.
I’d put it at No:1… can’t wait to go back there: hopefully permanently!
