  2. Well the line “this role is a perm position” is a bit of a reach given they only guarantee 20 hours but expect you to be available for 40.

    Its a part time role with an unpaid full time commitment….

  3. Just typical business bullshit; they want full-time availability for part-time pay so they don’t have to pay a penny more in labour costs than they absolutely have to in any given day. If you want someone to be available for 40 hours a week, you should be paying them for 40 hours a week, and if you can’t afford that then you shouldn’t be in business in the first place.
