  1. The degree of sexual harassment I receive every day for daring to show my face in public has skyrocketed since the supreme court ruling – I am not exaggerating when I say that the current political climate is killing us.

Trans women are women, and the erosion of our rights is just the first step in taking away the rights of all women.

If you’re one of these anti-trans people – particularly if you’re one of these anti-trans women – maybe stop and ask yourself who’s interests you’re actually serving, when you berate a woman in the street because she doesn’t look feminine enough for you.

If you think that’s good for women’s rights, I have a bridge to sell you.

  2. Like moths to a flame the cunts are gonna flock here with transphobic, homophobic and sexist views theyll be so happy to share.

  3. It is inconceivable that people have to go to such lengths for rights, it seems that the entire world is regressing in terms of equality and I’m sure many other areas.

  4. No, this “protest” is nothing more than an attention grab and a way to be as shocking and self degrading as possible.
These people have low self-esteem and need validation from others. This seems to be the only way they can get it.
This comment is not directed that the people who feel they were born in the wrong gender and do everything they can to dress and act like the other gender blending in with society and being the best person they can be.

  5. Wow these comments are fucking disgusting. Why do so many of you cunts relish the fact that these people have to fight for basic rights

  6. Nah in fairness good luck to them. It’s no easy life and people are cruel to them.

  7. Why do they censor this photo but they don’t censor the extinction rebellion one?

  8. To all the fuckers saying “wHaT rIgHtS hAvE tHeY lOsT?”

Trans people have lost the right to use the proper bathroom. Trans women should be in the women’s bathroom and trans men should be in the men’s.

All of you fuckers who think that it isn’t that bad for trans people are ignorant. And incredibly so. You’re the reason trans people are dying.

  9. Nobody can appeal to the European court of human rights. The Supreme Court doesn’t answer to them – the Supreme Court is the arbiter of UK law.

They have clarified what UK law means – it was clear all along, and some nefarious bodies convinced trans people it wasn’t and have now lead to this situation where they feel like their lives have been turned upside down. Unfortunately for them, this has always been the law.

  10. R/Scotland looking like r/uknews right now. Bunch of folk that aren’t even in Scotland commenting, so hurt are they.

  11. As per normal discourse these days, arguments on either side use extreme hyperbole.

Civilised debate and discussion is forbidden.

  12. Outside of Reddit most people agree with the courts.

And agree that trans people are not real woman/guys.

Not to be disrespectful but most of the population don’t wish harm but also feed up with this nonsense being rammed down our throats

This is nonsense is a contributing factor to the rise of far right parties as more and more central left people don’t agree with this nonsense that’s trans should be in women’s sports or safe spaces.

If someone wants to identify as the opposite sex have at it but don’t expect everyone to play along

  13. I am shocked, disappointed and repulsed by all of you ignorant transphobic bigots, judging someone for their attempt at a peaceful protest for RIGHTS, when you have your rights is unacceptable. Being trans harms nobody, and if you’re transphobic just don’t interact with trans individuals, there is no need to push your vile hate and tyranny on oppressed people who just want equality!
