  1. Personally, I liked our song, but the staging of it was utter shite. Was a fair bang of Dustin the Turkey on the production side anyway.

Most other entries were moving and dancing, and your one was just standing there for the whole song.

  2. The Eurovision has turned into a joke shop! Absolute shite! Can’t believe it takes up 3 nights on national television!

  3. Ive said it once, I’ll say it again.

Our Eurovision success was built on the back of the troubles.

  4. ‘Moroccan’ oil sponsorship being used wisely it seems

  5. At the end of the day, this means Irish phones/cards being used to vote. I don’t see any reason to believe it wasn’t Irish people doing the voting.

Edit: if you disagree I’d like to hear why.

Edit 2: here are the most plausible fraudulent voting methods I’ve heard of, but I feel an internal investigation would be able to provide clear evidence:

    1. Virtual Phone Numbers: Using services like Google Voice or bulk prepaid SIMs to cast multiple sets of 20 votes per entry, bypassing per-number limits.

    2. VPNs for Location Spoofing: Masking geographic origins to vote from countries where the voter is not located, though detectable by IP-phone number mismatches.

    3. Virtual Cards for Anonymity: Using legitimate virtual cards to hide voter identity while funding votes, limited by real funding requirements.

  6. Between jury and public points only Azerbaijan and France gave more points to Israel than we did.

  7. If you voted for Israel I sincerely hope you find MICA on your newly purchased home, and I hope the insurance doesn’t protect you.

  8. VPN manipulation?

  9. Our song was shite if I’m being honest.

Compared to the wonderful Austrian song, it’s hard to compete.

Bambie thug had much better production that captured people’s attention a lot more.

Can we always change the shitty late late show structure? 6 acts to choose from isn’t great. Would love to know how other nations pick acts.

  10. Honestly wonder if this is to do with Ireland boycotting more than the rest of Europe, basically distilling what few Israel supporters there are here from the general population.

  11. If all the people boycotting on anti genocide grounds don’t vote and all the people who don’t care and support Israel vote for them then yeah it’s not reflective of public opinion.

  12. I wouldn’t be so quick to jump to the conclusion that it was entirely cheated.

Think about it – a lot of people who support Palestine are intentionally not watching or voting in Eurovision. Meanwhile, people who support Israel are far more likely than usual to both watch AND vote (up to the 20x), even if they’ve never watched it before.

Plus very, very heavily pushed campaigning.

  13. People be acting like doing well in the Eurovision gives Israel more bombs lol. Yeah I’m sure they’re spending precious resources rigging a song contest.

  14. So Ireland isn’t the hot bed of anti-zionist & Anti-Semitic hate that Israel has spent years claiming it is?
Or have the Israelis been lying about that too?
Imagine not being able to grasp the most important aspect of a psyop…
That of keeping to a consistent narrative.

How does the Israeli PR machine reconcile their years of claims regarding Ireland’s hate for Israel, with Israel somehow managing to top the poll in 2 public votes in Ireland?

It’s almost as if their bot farms have overegged the pudding.
Similarly to last year, Israel and their fuck acting have had the opposite effect.

  15. Honestly all the songs I thought were good did shite. Insert Principal skinner meme

  16. Not surprised, on the night were just not good enough, the staging was awful, the standard of songs was quite high this year

  17. Hold on

    Jesus Christ

It all has to be political hasn’t it.

    It’s a song contest. A song contest.

    Why have protests?

    Protest somewhere else?

Also. What the fuck is protesting at a song contest going to achieve?

I get it. It’s horrendous what’s going on. Horrendous.

But fuck me, it’s a song contest?

  18. Why would anyone think that a song contest vote would be fair and genuine?

There are a lot of good observations here, but it’s also likely that Israel outright cheats. Why wouldn’t they? It’s their MO.

  19. The Eurovision is not what it used to be.

I wonder is this a case of the online sentiment not reflecting reality? Is Ireland full of closeted Israel supporters?

  20. Of course they did, it’s paying for the car crash. Let’s all vote for Israel to see what happens

  21. So jokes aside is Israel cheating again like last time?

No chance Ireland would vote for them.

  22. I refuse to believe in any regard that the people of Ireland would actually give Israel 12 points. That would be like Ukraine giving their 12 points to Russia. I’m completely convinced at this point that there is a malicious manipulation of the votes on the end of Eurovision.

Get Israel out of Eurovision ASAP

  23. I would boycott eurovision if it wasn’t shite and I watched it

  24. Does anyone know any of those ‘industry professionals’ who are our jury?
