If, as the article says, the oligarchs have been getting their money out of Russia by buying UK property and other investments, how is that financing the Russian regime?
Surely by extracting their money from Russia, as Abramovich did when he bought Chelsea, that gets the money further from the grips of the Russian war machine.
So it wasn’t 45% of Europe buying its gas from Russia, or China being their largest trade partner (nearly 40% of all exports)…
…it was Britain that made Russia’s war possible. *Sure.*
