UK plans to end ‘failed free market experiment’ in immigration

1. Will somebody please consider the corporations’ profit margins being devastated by these new rules? Where will they find easily exploitable workers now?

2. I work in a hospital, nearly all the people doing low paid jobs – cleaners, porters, general maintenance workers are immigrants on close to minimum wage. I genuinely don’t see queues of UK born unemployed filling these posts.

   In the care home sector, things are even worse. People need to consider, who is going to look after them when they are old and decrepit if you are offering the same money as a worker at McDonald’s for far less pleasant work and lousy shift patterns.
