  16. I’m generally not a supporter of organized religion, but I do respect the strategic thinking behind choosing this guy as pope. He’s obviously kind-hearted and somewhat liberal, which is a good look for the church in this day and age. Dude has been receiving a ton of positive press

    So this is a smart move

Vance and his sugar daddy, billionaire Peter Thiel, converted to Catholicism to match our Supreme Court, of which 6 out of 9 justices are Catholics, and to match the Heritage Foundation, planners and administrators of Project 2025, who are members of a Catholic secret society Opus Dei. To me, it is significant that neither Pope Francis nor Pope Leo seemed to welcome converted Catholic JD Vance. At least in public view.

  24. I’m a Catholic and struggle to see how Vance’s views align with the views I hold. Kind of ok with this pope at the moment. Christianity has been hijacked and it’s not good, they need to get back to basics, love and be kind to one another – don’t be a fucking arse and unkind, we are all equal.
