More than 260 athletes from 44 countries and over 100 national federation delegates are converging at the capital’s OAKA stadium through May 25 for the World Indoor Freediving Championship, which is being hosted by Greece for the first time.
The event officially kicks off on Monday with an opening ceremony at 6 p.m. and competitions begin the following day.
The event is organized by Diving Greece under the Sports Ministry, in partnership with the international and Greek federations of underwater sports.
