  1. I wonder if giving men the right to legally ‘abort’ their child – remove all rights and responsibilities, for life – would remove these sort of incidents from society.

  2. Anyone else think referring to the perpetrator as a *paramedic” in the headline rather than maybe describing his relationship to the victim(s) or really any other way to describe is a bit misleading? It makes it sound like he was just a paramedic to her and this was perhaps in relation to her seeking medical support. Which is very different from what actually happened.

I suppose I probably wouldn’t have gone to the article if the headline had presented it as “man gives involuntary abortion to affair partner” rather than “paramedic gives involuntary abortion”.

  3. Women secretly abort against the man’s wishes or knowledge.

    What’s the difference?

  4. A woman kills her baby. That’s acceptable.

Somebody else kills the baby. That’s awful!

Just because you carry the child, it doesn’t give you the liberty to kill it.

  5. The link between health fields and attracting psychos like him and Letby is fascinating, makes you wonder how many of these sickos get away with this stuff in the NHS

  6. My old boss told me he would buy dodgy things online and secretly give it to his wife when she was pregnant so that she would lose the baby. He saw absolutely nothing wrong with it, and me and my colleague were just like “wtf”.

He ended up having a daughter and telling us that it actually wasn’t that bad and it was fun to teach her and see her learn things, but wish he’d had a son instead.

  7. Holy shit this is terrifying. That paramedic has to be tried for murder.

  8. Title is incorrect and distorts a tragic situation . Man drugged girlfriend to induce miscarriage.

  9. This comes across as very poorly written with implicit bias, shoddy journalism all round.

From what I gather, yes the **father to be**, who happens to be a paramedic, did some shady shit and needed to face a magistrate. But, with the way this article is written I think I’ll withhold judgement until I get a less sensationalist news outlet.

It is particularly sad as the SDR, which leans left, is resorting the same BS that far right toe-rags line the daily mail resort to.

    Do better.

  10. Question……what’s the charge?

As this is an unborn child, that can’t carry any charge, is this essentially an assault charge?
