  8. Had a look at the rest of the photos on propertypal. Where would a TV even go? 
    That looks like somewhere you’d hire for a city break for a long weekend. Not somewhere you’d live!

  11. I’ve seen this a few times in similar streets. The cost of living must be hitting the leafy streets of South Belfast hard. 

  12. Last place I rented was about 8 years ago and 850 got me a three bed duplex penthouse on the river. There’s inflation and then there’s just out and out lunacy.

  14. Damn that’s my old apartment building! It was 600 about 7 years ago, even then it wasn’t worth it the insulation was shite and i got mold on my clothes. Look at the energy rating it’s horrible.

  16. bright spot,lovely lighting, nice exhaust spots about, fairly private. Fit at least 50-60 plants. Nice yield, quick turnabout with auto’s. 6 month contract.

  17. I pay less for a three bed 😭. We gave up on Belfast and tried further afield. The results were much better.

  18. Having lived in a relatively small apartment ( 3 rooms, kitchen/living room, bedroom and bathroom but with less sq ft than this) I kind of miss it. There was something really cosy about living smaller. Granted I wasn’t paying anywhere near £800 for the privilege.

    In the contract it will no doubt say (No Pets) just in case your tempted to test the above law out.

  21. Ive lived in studio apts – they’re supposed to still have some kind of separation from the living/sleeping area, and should still have a bathroom which I don’t see here

  23. I mean who DOESN’T dream of sticking on a Goodfellas deep pan and then checking it’s progress from bed?

  24. Have never seen a 7G energy rating before, imagine the windows rattle, there is a howling wind through the walls and mould will appear from end of Sept onwards, before getting a bleach down again in spring.

  41. The housing situation in NI is actually getting insane. I just think myself lucky i found my place when i did. It’s only a room but it’s ensuite and is a decent price compared to others i’m seeing. Some rooms that offer basically the same as what i get are paying double the amount.

  42. Jesus I’m paying less than that for a 3 bed semi with driveway, gated side area and gardens front and back, 10 min walk up the Lisburn Rd from there.
