So I finally went to The Devil’s Pulpit today. Place is stunning, but I couldn’t believe the amount of rubbish that had been left, including disposable barbecues with burgers & buns still on them. Wtf

    It never ceases to amaze me how far out fo the way folk will go to eat their mcDonalds somewhere nice (so presumably have an appreciation for nice places) only to dump all their rubbish there and shite it up (not that much appreciation it seems).

  8. The roadway where people park to walk there is always absolutely chocka these days, too – people just dump their cars absolutely anywhere, and walk along that road, causing all sorts of hazards. The worst of the worst cunts too. Such a shame we can’t have anywhere nice without fucking goblins coming along and destroying it.

  10. I went i think 7 or 8yrs ago on a trip back home. Was a pain to find parking but luckily back then I didn’t see one piece of trash. It was a great visit. This saddens me.

  11. Report it to the council, they might try to get you to report it to NatureScot because it’s in a river but it is bullshit, it is the councils responsibility

  12. This is why a lot of sites like this are getting closed off or having parking near them taken away, so they can discourage people from doing this right here

  17. I don’t get people’s mindset. Me and the missus were having a picnic by kylesku bridge a couple years ago and the wind blew my carrier bag away. I scaled that hillside to go and retrieve it, and yet people like this can’t pick up something they’re sat next to
