1. Lebanon has decided to disarm all Palestinian factions in the country, and President Joseph Aoun says they’ll be bringing in Egyptian military expertise to help get it done. The goal is to make sure all weapons are under the control of the state.

   This comes as Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to visit Beirut soon, with talks likely to center on the disarmament effort. Meanwhile, the Lebanese government has warned groups like Hamas not to take any steps that could threaten the country’s security.

3. Does this include Hezbollah? If not, what groups are they talking about?

4. As much as I hate Netanyahu for basically everything else, his Lebanon strategy has largely worked out.
