Hi everyone, I'm from Taiwan. As a metalhead, I just wanted to share that Chthonic is a very well-known metal band here. Recently, Taiwan appointed Freddy Lim, the lead vocalist of Chthonic, as an official representative abroad. The government even stated that this could help build better cultural connections with countries that love heavy metal — like Finland.
That made me curious: do metal fans in Finland still know about Chthonic?
They’ve performed in several countries over the years, including European tours in the past. I'm wondering if the band is still known or recognized among Finnish metal fans, or if they've kind of faded into obscurity here.
