  1. Not shocking gen x raised emotionally stunted adults because they themselves were the worst parents. They gave
kids phones, iPads, and social media without guidance. They were emotional distance, passive parenting, and checked-out attitude left a lot of their kids lost, anxious, or underprepared for real life and now they are useless.

  2. Gen Z are 13 to 28 years old. I have seen alot of articles talking about a tough job market for those graduating. Every gen z I know is in school, working, or looking for a job. How does somebody survive without some form of income?

  3. By choice or they can’t get an entry level job in cities? When I entered the workforce 10 years ago they gaslighted millennials with absurd requirements for entry level. Now most companies don’t have the roles and rely on partners or disti’s to filter them out

  4. First- the stupid article is paywalled; and
    SECOND- WTF IS A “NEET”

  5. Capitalists are desperate to claim that poor people are poor by choice rather than the numerous and immense failures of capitalism.

  6. Honestly I’ve considered living like this so many times. I’m not going to because it would ruin my marriage and I have pets to support financially. But if it was just me I’d have a harder time rationalizing working so hard for not alot of gain in my life/career. Idk if anyone else feels that way but I feel like I struggle just to stay stagnant.

  7. >And Gen Zers who are working are taking significantly more sick leave than Gen Xers 20 years their senior.

From my perspective they are sick all the time. Hardly a week goes by that more than one are sending a sick day message in Teams. It’s like, come on no one believes all these people are getting sick for a single day.

  8. The juice ain’t worth the squeeze anymore, and the kids know it
