India and Pakistan exchange fire in Kashmir after conflict escalates • FRANCE 24 English

Well, since today morning, multiple uh drone attacks have taken place in different parts of Pakistan. The Pakistani military is claiming that they have downed at least 12 Indian drones that were inside Pakistani airspace uh in the cities of Lahore, Gujarala, Jagwal, Raal, Pindi, Atak, Karachi and also in some parts of Sin province. It is a developing situation. and Pakistani military spokesperson has said a number of Indian drones are still present in Pakistani airspace. One Indian drone has been able to engage a military target in Lahore actually injuring at least four military personnel. Four Pakistani military personnel. Uh we have talked with one resident uh in Lahore who told us that in the early uh in the early hours of morning he woke up to the sounds of warning sirens going off and they and then afterwards after 10 minutes he heard uh sounds of explosions. Uh Pakistani military spokesperson has called this situation a serious aggression by India. He has also said that we are ready to respond to this aggression uh and India will pay for it. Hospitals across Punjab, the biggest province uh of the country have been put on high alert. Uh the situation uh still remains quite tense. Pakistan has also partially closed four of its major airports including including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Salot. uh yesterday evening we saw that the local authorities ordered a blackout in areas of Punjab uh uh along the border with India and also in certain residential areas in the outskirts of Islamad the capital of the country also uh along the line of control the de facto border between India and and Pakistan in the Kashmir region there is still crossfiring taking place between forces of both countries there has also been reports of heavy shelling by both sides and uh Shaz we just heard from the uh Pakistani prime minister Shabbaz Sharif uh his statement. Uh what do we expect then? Can we expect more action from Pakistan? Well, as I said, this is a developing situation. The Pakistani military is saying that they are they will respond to the latest escalation by India. Uh this tone is very different from the tone that we were hearing yesterday in the evening. Uh we saw the foreign minister uh Pakistani foreign minister Isad Dar claiming that the national security advisers of both Pakistan and India were in contact uh which created hope for deescalation. Uh before that we also saw uh the Pakistani prime minister Shabbah Sharif he did a televised uh address to the nation late yesterday night in which he claimed that Pakistan has taken down at least five Indian fighter jets after India carried out air strikes inside Pakistan. uh he congratulated the military for responding quickly to protect the sovereignty of the country and avenge those killed in the strikes. However, he ended by saying that uh Pakistan is in favor of peace and does not wish to further uh to further the conflict. All right, Shaza, thank you very

India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire along their border overnight in Kashmir, New Delhi said Thursday, a day after India launched deadly missile attacks on what it claimed were “terrorist camps” in Pakistan. India’s attack came two weeks after New Delhi blamed Islamabad for an attack on tourists in the Indian-administered side of disputed Kashmir.

It's so easy to kill innocent people nowadays just claiming that they are "terrorists" …this is not the way, see in palestine, what happened in India was condemned but India's response is not justified, there is no proof provided they just struck the civilians in another country's territory, it's a shame to humanity by starting war without any justified reason. Putting so many innocent people into the danger of war between two nuclear powers just for own ego and attacking innocents. World had learnt nothing from Wars, not from world's first nuclear attack… it was just an inhumane and unjustified attack
