1. So rumpty dumpty threw such a fit about not being able to get a brand new plane for 2 years that the us military went out looking for someone who had an existing plane to lease or buy. They approached Qatar, discussed leasing and buying, and then somewhere along the line Qatar decided to “donate” it to the US gov. I am sure that donation isnt in the wake of some sort of backroom deal made with the dirty dealer who loves to ~~solicit bribes~~ promote $1mm plate dinners for one on one time, and publicly tell oil execs that he will make their environmental issues go away for a scant $1bn “donation”.

3. Funny..,with Trump there is always a “web” of distortion. “Jet Gate” runs afoul of the truth. No surprise!

4. I would guess 10 to 20 million to retrofit with advanced avionics, the skin needs to be modified to withstand a nuclear blast, also needs to be retrofitted so it can be refueled in midair. All those upgrades would take at least 2 years.
